Editorial Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
Symplification is an independent publication at symplification.com.
Symplification is an independent guide to travel tech. We start with your task. Where must a plan work, and for how long? Which phone will use it? A plan’s headline does not settle those points.
Sources and dates
We read the provider’s plan page and terms for what it includes. For a device, we use the maker’s specs and guides. For a flight rule, we use the airline or the body that sets it. A store listing does not replace those sources.
Each guide has one Last updated date. Detailed source records stay with the editorial work. An unknown fee is not zero. A missing network name stays unknown. We flag disputed claims or leave them out.
A check date records when we read a source. It does not promise that a plan will keep the same terms.
What a recommendation means
We state who an option may suit and a drawback that matters. The choice may depend on a network or the exact phone model. It may depend on a plan term. We say when a choice is based on published facts.
We do not invent ratings or test results. Nor do we claim trips or skills we do not have. A worked sum shows its inputs and units. It is not a current quote. A missing input stays unknown.
Commercial links
A commission does not prove coverage or that a device will work. Amazon buying guides carry the Associates notice under the title. The disclosure page explains commercial links. A provider handles its own sale.
Corrections
Send the page address and the disputed wording to hello@symplification.com. Add a current source if you have one. We check the fact before we change it. A material change needs a new check date and source record. Do not send private trip or account details.
Historical material
New pages about the past separate old statements from current advice. They do not speak for the former publisher. We do not restore old software or private prototype photos. An old report is not proof that its claims were true.
